WILHELMINIAN BUILDING 1905

Formerly a hub of industrial steel production, Belval in Luxembourg is to be transformed in future into a thriving centre of knowledge, culture and technology. Three identical new buildings with a striking base area create space for modern commercial and office usage. At the same time, the L-shaped high-rise buildings also serve as a reminder of the industrial location of yesteryear: an irregular grid made of weathering steel and fluorescent tubes in the façade alludes to former production facilities and the goods station nearby.
